WESTBOROUGH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has announced overnight ramp closures as part of the I-495/Mass. Pike project.

Beginning Sept. 30 and through the morning of Oct. 2, the I-495 southbound on-ramp exit 106 and the off-ramp exit 58 will be closed. The work is expected to take place between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

While the crews are working on this portion of the project, there will be a detour in place. When the on-ramp exit 106 is closed, traffic will be directed to use the I-495 northbound ramp to exit 59B to reverse direction to southbound I-495. When the off-ramp exit 59 is closed, drivers will be detoured to exit 54A to access I-495 back to I-90.

MassDOT cautions drivers to expect delays and reduce their speed while driving through the affected areas. There will be signs, law enforcement and messaging in place to direct drivers.

This is part of the I-495/Mass. Pike interchange replacement project.
