WESTBOROUGH – A public health advisory for cyanobacteria in Lake Chauncy has been rescinded.
According to a press release from the Westborough Public Health Department, as of Sept. 3, there was no detected cyanobacteria in the lake.
The department is no longer testing for bacteria at Lake Chauncy, and the beach remains closed to the public.
