WESTBOROUGH – The town’s Employee Excellence Award Committee has presented the December 2023 Employee Excellence Award to Andy Boehling, electrician with the Department of Public Works.
According to the committee’s announcement, “Since starting at the DPW as the town electrician, Andy has proven himself time and time again. His vast knowledge as an electrician and outstanding work ethic, combined with his ability to problem solve a wide range of issues, has shown what an asset he is to the town of Westborough.”
Boehling’s primary duties focus on sewer pump stations, traffic signals, street lighting, numerous stand-by generators and any electrical issues that arise in town buildings.
“His days can be long and challenging, but he always gets the job done with a smile on his face,” the committee wrote. “When it comes to the electrical needs of the DPW and the town, his list of accomplishments is long. For these reasons and many more, Andy Boehling is the December 2023 Employee Excellence Award winner.”
