WESTBOROUGH – The Girl Scouts from Westborough Troop 64524 are raising funds to create a Community Pet Food Donation Pantry.
The pantry will be a place where people can donate pet food for those in need.
According to its GoFundMe page, troop members “saw an opportunity to lend a hand to pet owners in need.
“Inflation has made everyday items increase in price; some people have to make hard choices on what they can afford,” they said.
All funds will be used to purchase a recycled container from a family-owned business to hold the food donations and to purchase pet food to fill the container.
