

WESTBOROUGH – A man was sent to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident at the corner of Mill Road and Fisher Street on Monday, Jan. 16.
Just before 3 p.m., Westborough police and firefighters responded to a report that a gray Toyota Tundra truck had crashed into a utility pole. At one point, six cruisers and Engine 4, along with an ambulance, were on scene.
According to police, the driver, whose identity has yet to be released, may have had a medical issue before the crash.
The accident split the pole; National Grid arrived to stabilize the pole so that the vehicle can be removed.
Police were advising motorists to avoid the area.
