WESTBOROUGH — Another Special Town Meeting is on deck.
During its Nov. 15 meeting, the Select Board voted to call the meeting for 9 a.m. on Dec. 10 at Westborough High School.
At the meeting, the Select Board acknowledged that on Nov. 7, the Town Clerk’s office received a petition with more than 500 signatures supporting a revote on the Westborough Public Library expansion project.
Later in the meeting, the board accepted a petition against the revote.
Board Chairman Ian Johnson said that those wanting to comment on the measure may do so during the board’s Nov. 22 meeting.
That will also be when the articles will be posted on the warrant, and when the warrant will be closed.
During Special TM on Oct. 17, the request for a $36 million project fell short of a 2/3 majority.
