WESTBOROUGH – A serious crash involving a motorcycle drew a major emergency response to the intersection of Route 9 and Lyman Street in Westborough on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews remained on scene as of 8:00 p.m.
Blocking multiple lanes of traffic, this incident has slowed travel particularly on the eastbound side of Route 9, as well as along Lyman Street.
Taking to social media at 6 p.m., the Westborough Fire Department advised motorists to seek alternate routes to avoid the area around this crash.
The Westborough Police Department shared its own message just after 7:45 p.m., noting that crash reconstruction personnel were aiding in this response.
Traffic on Route 9 Eastbound was limited to one lane at that time.
