Westborough – The Westborough Public Works Department has issued a statement noting that the “construction of the Fisher Street Bridge is approaching completion. The anticipated opening of the bridge is still June 2020 assuming there are no unforeseeable delays.”
The bridge, which goes over the Assabet River, was originally planned to be reconstructed during the period of Oct. 7 through Dec. 24, 2019. The completion date was then changed to mid-January and then again to June.
