Westborough – Tatnuck Booksellers in Westborough has announced new hours and a curbside pickup program as they contend with the need for social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The community social hotspot will remain open for the time being, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays. Outside, staff will be happy to arrange curbside pickup of the books and other goods the store sells directing those interested to call their store ahead of time.
To minimize close contact between patrons as well as store staff, Tatnuck has cancelled all events through April 5.
With those gone from the schedule, though, a recent press release from the store assures shoppers that they’ll be safe visiting.
“At 32,000 square feet,” the statement read, “There’s plenty of room [in our store] for social distancing.”
