Westborough – A blood drive will be held in memory of Westborough resident Corinne Sciarappa on Saturday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Westborough Fire Department, 42 Milk Street. On June 2, 2019, after her courageous, four-year battle with cancer, Corinne passed away with her loving family by her side. Her long fight consisted of countless trips to the Jimmy Fund Clinic, many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, and nearly 200 blood and platelet transfusions. Through it all, Corinne was dedicated to making the world a better place, and she consistently placed her care and concern for others above her own. It is in this spirit, her family said, that they are inviting members of the public to donate blood in Corinne’s memory.
